We do great things with all pupils including those whose lives are characterised by privation
The GORSE Academies Trust has an increasingly well-known reputation for changing the deal for children and young adults who come from some of the most impoverished parts of the country. Our central mission is to ensure that we play a significant role in removing the stubborn link between poverty and academic under performance.
The application process to secure teaching school hub Status for Leeds was rigorous and challenging. Ultimately, we were successful in our application because we do great things with all pupils including those whose lives are characterised by privation. We do this through expertly planned teaching, inspiring leadership and an attention to detail which is increasingly renowned.
We look after our people, always try to be kind and conduct ourselves with rectitude. We are proud of our applicant school, The Morley Academy, which is rated Outstanding by Ofsted and has World Class School status, as well as our trust and wider partnerships across the city.
