The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn’t it be? … it is the same the angels breathe.

Our central mission is to ensure that we play a significant role in removing the stubborn link between poverty and academic under performance.

We aim to do this by offering access to a wide range of high quality CPD opportunities to teachers and leaders from across the city, in turn changing the deal for children and young adults who come from some of the most impoverished parts of the country.

The application process to secure teaching school hub status for Leeds was rigorous and challenging. Ultimately, we were successful in our application because it demonstrated that we have experience of doing great things with all pupils including those whose lives are characterised by privation. We do this through expertly planned teaching, inspiring leadership and an attention to detail which is increasingly renowned.

All of our CPD programmes are facilitated by highly experienced colleagues from our Strategic Partner group. These colleagues are able to draw on their own experiences and share best practice with others from across this city.
