Summary

The introduction to DEI for Classroom Teachers CPD programme will explore the nine protected characteristics as well as focusing on consciousness, challenge and competence. Colleagues attending the programme will consider the resources they use in their daily practice, how their practice could be adapted and what their sphere of influence is. Practical strategies that classroom teachers can implement simply will be shared.  This CPD programme is designed in line with the EEFs Effective Professional Development guidance, and a variety of freely available resources will be signposted enabling colleagues to further explore their own contexts and have sustainable access to research in this area.

Each school in Leeds is eligible for one free place on this CPD Programme, additional places will be charged at £50 per colleague

Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis however, as we expect the demand to be high we will endeavour to run further cohorts where possible
