Summary
The Highly Effective Primary MFL CPD programme will take primary school teachers on a journey so that they understand the standard that should be achieved by the end of KS2. We will look at how to provide enrichment opportunities, develop cultural capital and embed the MFL pillars of progression: phonics, vocabulary and grammar and assessing students accurately. This programme will ensure that teachers are able to create language rich classrooms that focus on embedding the key skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and that they understand how make the curriculum relevant.

Suitable for primary school teachers, both non-specialists and specialists
Appropriate for schools delivering either French or Spanish
Each school in Leeds is eligible for one free place on this CPD Programme, additional places will be charged at £50 per colleague
Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis however, as we expect the demand to be high we will endeavour to run further cohorts where possible
