Becoming a Governor
Our governors have a significant role to play in Leeds Teaching School Hub’s development, through our scrutiny of the teaching school hubs plans for future improvement, our understanding of the needs of the regional professional community and our commitment to remain at the forefront of educational thinking.
Governors at the teaching school hub are drawn from a diverse spectrum, with professional representation covering the breadth of educational provision in the city. Alongside these professional representatives our governing body also includes representation from wider stakeholders in the city. With a strong governing body we are confident that robust support, questioning and challenge will, through being critical friends, provide the foundations for Leeds Teaching School Hub to grow, flourish and provide truly outstanding opportunities for Leeds.
