Leeds Teaching School Hub is delighted to be able to offer all schools in Leeds one free place on this CPD programme

Summary
Raising the Attainment of Disadvantaged Pupils: Debunking the Myths will interrogate a variety of strategies that prioritise disadvantaged students as well as ensuring all students learn as well. We will explore how teachers can create a productive, supportive environment that allows disadvantaged students to flourish.
The programme will allow teachers and leaders of teaching to investigate how to effectively support and personalise learning. Looking at how disadvantaged students can build independence will be an integral part of the programme along with the impact that effective feedback, metacognition and self-regulation can have, when used to maximum effect. Furthermore, this CPD offer will embed skills so that teachers can extend strategies to impact on Pupil Premium students with additional needs and/or SEND.
