Book your place on ‘Practical Strategies for SEND Students in a Mainstream Classroom’ here
Summary
The Practical Strategies for SEND students in a Mainstream Classroom CPD programme focuses on sharing and reflecting upon impactful practical strategies that can be delivered through quality-first teaching. This approach is supported by the government’s response to the Green Paper (2022), Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and Alternative Provision Support Plan: Right Support, Right Place, Right Time (2023) that states that “All staff should be upskilled to support children with additional needs before feeling that they need to refer on to get more specialist support.” Inclusive Practices within a Mainstream Classroom will also explore autism and how teaching can be adapted to meet the needs of these learners.
